Admission Procedure

Students/Children will be admitted based on Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, without an admission test:

  • Children who are coming on Pass/Promoted TC from another APS/KV within the period 01 April to 31 July
  • Children who have studied for 10 academic months in another APS/KV and are seeking admission after 31 July
  • Children of Army Personnel coming on posting to the station from schools other than Army Public School/KV
  • An evaluation may be taken in respect of these children to facilitate further academic coaching and allocation of class.

SUBJECTS AND MARKS OF ENTRANCE TEST ARE AS FOLLOWS

Middle Classes (VI to VIII) English, Hindi, Maths and Science 25
Secondary Classes (IX to X) English, Hindi, Maths and Science 25

ADMISSSION PRIORITY

  • Army Public School transfer Cases. (Army Person)
  • Transfer Cases from KV/Other private recognised schools.
  • Transfer Cases from Local Schools

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • Transfer Certificate in original, which should be uploaded on previous schools website.
  • Progress Report of the last school attended along with character certificate.
  • Defence Personnel Serving Certificate (if applicable).
  • Dependent Certificate in respect of the children of serving personnel along with date of birth duly signed by CO/OC.
  • Passport size colour photograph of child.

ADMISSION TO CLASS XI

  • Fresh admission will be taken in class XI after class X.
  • The minimum percentage for different streams for admission in class XI is as per guidelines.
  • Meeting the eligibility criteria on account of minimum percentages, donot gurantee admission.
  • Admission will depend upon relative availability of seats.
  • No special weightage shall be given for any stream to any student.
