Our Expectation From Parents

  • Check the child’s school diary and homework/notebooks regularly and ensure that all take-home assignments are completed on time.
  • Discuss with your child any problems they face in coping with scholastic and non-scholastic activities.
  • Encourage children to read books, reviews, and dailies suitable for their age so that they learn to seek knowledge on their own and make learning a leisurely experience.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the school premises and will be sent back home. After the closure of the school gate, students should return home under their own arrangements. The school will not be responsible for any mishap that happens en route. Parents should guide students accordingly.
  • A student's name will be deleted from the school records if he/she is absent for six consecutive days without prior permission.
  • Parents must not send their children to school when they are suffering from any disease. In case of sickness, inform the school immediately and later send a medical as well as a fitness certificate. Any child undergoing prolonged treatment should be brought to the notice of the class teacher/subject teachers in writing by the parents.
  • If a child has an appointment with a doctor, the child should not be sent to school on that day.
  • Producing a false medical certificate for absence from school will be penalized by rustication from the school without any further warning.
  • Parents are requested not to withdraw their wards during school hours except in unavoidable circumstances.
  • Parents are welcome to meet the subject teacher/class teacher of their wards on Parent-Teacher Meeting days. Their positive suggestions for the overall development of students are solicited.
  • Parents must attend Parent-Teacher Meetings. If they are likely to be out of station, prior information in writing should be sent to the Principal, who will arrange their interview with the respective teachers upon their return.
  • Parents will not, for any reason, go to the classrooms during school hours. They must contact the school authorities in case of any emergency. Any point regarding a lapse on the part of a teacher should be communicated to the Principal/Vice Principal/Head Mistress verbally or in writing. Under no circumstances should parents behave rudely or be insulting to the teachers.
  • Parents will be informed in person or through the student’s diary about their ward’s misconduct, untidiness, improper uniform, etc.
  • All school dues must be cleared according to the instructions given in the fee book.
  • Ensure that your ward is escorted safely to the school and back home.
  • No tuition will be given by the teachers who teach at the school. Parents should inculcate regular self-study habits in their wards.
  • A pupil’s name will be struck off the rolls for reasons such as unsatisfactory progress in studies (despite the best efforts from the school), absence from a test/examination without a bona fide reason, and non-payment of school fees.
  • Any future changes made in the general regulations of the school regarding tuition fees or any other charges will be binding on parents or guardians.
  • The school would like parents to maintain a close rapport with their children's teachers. Parents are advised to meet the Principal, Vice-Principal, Co-ordinator, or teachers according to the schedule given or by prior appointment.
  • Issue of Transfer Certificate:
    • Parents requesting a Transfer Certificate for their children should submit their application along with a clearance certificate, duly completed, to the school office in advance.
  • Issue of Various Types of Certificates:
    • Parents requesting the Principal’s signature on various types of certificates should submit the certificate/application three days in advance. Parents are requested not to insist on the issue of a certificate on the spot; it should be routed through the school office/class teachers.
    • Principal: 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on all weekdays or with prior appointment.
    • Parents can meet the Vice Principal/Head Mistress/Teachers on 4th Saturdays and after dispersal on all working days.
    • The office will remain open on all working days from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM only.
