Army Public School, Allahabad was sanctioned by Army Head Quarter on 9th Nov. 1995 and is being managed for the last three decades to fulfill the educational needs and aspirations of families of all ranks, serving as well as retired. The school was formally inaugurated by GOC,MB Area Major General S.J.S Sehghal V.M. on 23rd April 1996.

The school also caters for the children of Civilians within the rules. The school is managed by the Commander MPC of Allahabad Sub Area as the Chairman of School Management Committee.
